Neo-psychedelia meets electronic music, and the heartbreaker "My Blue Guitar" softens even the most embittered heart! Initially very much influenced by sixties psych, the album develops towards the end towards electronic-experimental music, but this does not detract from the label "psychedelic". On the contrary, you are put into a trance from which you only awaken when silence returns, only to press play again and again! The album ends with the ingenious Pink Floyd cover "Baby Blue Shuffle in D Major". Repeatedly declared by the fans as the best Sula Bassana album, repeatedly found to be particularly good by the media, it is now being re-released.
The debut album of German spacehead Dave Schmidt aka Sula Bassana was released on vinyl for the first time in 2002 by Nasoni Records. In 2004 it was released as a CD on Dave's label Sulatron Records; and in 2005 it was re-released as a silver disc on Elektrohasch Records. 10 years later came a re-release on LP and CD. A 10 year edition. But it's not just a simple re-release: all the material has been remastered by Krautrock legend Eroc. In addition, there were 2 bonus tracks on the CD and a completely new artwork by Electric Moon's bassist Komet Lulu, who publishes her design under the name "Lulu Artwork!". The vinyl (2nd edition of the re-issue!) came as a beautiful, green 180 gram quality wax, surrounded by a black inner sleeve.
NOW comes another re-issue, limited to 300 copies 180 grams randomly colorful recycled vinyl made in Germany, with the original cover artwork of the first two CD editions, then designed by Malleus, the cult designer from Italy (Ufomammut members!).
This is the 22nd anniversary edition of the album, the 20th anniversary of the CD and 20 years of Sulatron Records with a single record.
